Nancy Ament takes on Joan Hassols Choke Cherry Jelly

On August 24, 2009 I recommended a book to you on canning...."Well Preserved" by the late Joan Hassol is a delightful book to read! It is full of stories of how Joan canned her way through grief after her husband passed away. This summer I gave a box of canning jars with seals to Nancy Ament, who works next door at The Soap Box, a darling shop that smells heavenly!

Nancy's son had picked her some chokecherries and after borrowing my book she brought me back this delightful jar of Colorado Choke Cherry Jelly.

This is one of my favorite books......
