Nancy Ament takes on Joan Hassols Choke Cherry Jelly
On August 24, 2009 I recommended a book to you on canning...."Well Preserved" by the late Joan Hassol is a delightful book to read! It is full of stories of how Joan canned her way through grief after her husband passed away.
This summer I gave a box of canning jars with seals to Nancy Ament, who works next door at The Soap Box, a darling shop that smells heavenly!
Nancy's son had picked her some chokecherries and after borrowing my book she brought me back this delightful jar of Colorado Choke Cherry Jelly.
