I have really given this some thought today and I have to admit - I probably love the tea party books the best! Yes, I am hopelessly in love with tea parties! If you are at all like me you will love Susannah Blake's book "Afternoon Tea Parties". Upon flipping through this book I happened on her page featuring Forest Violet hand painted Russian porcelain and since I sell that in my store I chose it for a photo.
Chapters in this book are really themes for tea parties and are full of creative ideas for baking, decorating, table settings and all manner of tea information.

Since I am in the process of planning a garden tea party this summer, I found this chapter very helpful. The use of edible flowers seems mandatory if you are having a tea in the garden so there are many helpful recipes here!
